I thought I would carry this on from another thread..As mentioned I loved Nyman's score for The Draughtman's Contractand just recently the score to Zodiac by David Shire and the assembled soundtrack...

Philip Glass' film scores are often a bit over-bearing and too 'Glassy' but I adore Mishima.Love listening to Vertigo, Eraserhead and The Shining's soundtracks on my iPod when I'm walking around town...

I love spaghetti western soundtracks. I think my favorite might be the score for "La Resa Dei Conti" (The Big Gundown) by Morricone, but it's a very close call. There's also the incredible soundtrack...
